Fabrications

  • 0
The materialistic nature of human beings’ minds lead them to seek materialistic evidences for their ideological believes, controversially their religious views would need not any fabrication of present metaphysical or physical existence.

But it seemed to be the common trend among religious leaders through history, to interpret the minds of their materialistic oriented followers with those fabrications or truths. However it would not add any value for any dogmatic reasonable person.

Belief is the blood of the soul, it’s what keeps their spirit alive, run the adrenaline through their veins and rule their actions and daily life activities. Without it they are hopeless and valueless parasites. That’s why those interpretations were necessary to hold hope for those poor trips with defected intellectual abilities to reason and find truth to keep them under their slavery and keep their performance up by those mythologies.

It’s the same reason we hear about flying ghosts, crying walls, tearing pictures, and most recently lit up names on the map.

It’s pathetic to build faith on myths of this kind, is it what any of their faith offer?

لا وربي

It’s the same argument raised upon the followers of Mosses when they requested to incarnate their God in a materialistic sculpture. And the same argument from sick minds is raised till now but in modern themes.

The only faith I would follow is what gives me answers, methodologies of understanding life and lemmas to enlighten my path.

That’s why I’ve chosen peaceful submission or in Arabic “Islam”.
Islam has liberated my mind :)

I'll raise him free. Help me !

Yesterday, I was on my bed resting from 3 long weeks of hard work and absence of rest. A thought came to my mind about how much time I wasted in my life to find the things I love and work on improving those skills, I thought also about how much obstacles I faced through finding it, not materialistic obstacles but mental ones.
 As I looked around my thoughts were blocked by so many constrains that came from non-responsible people having no trusteeship at all. Also if they have any; they missed lots of skills in doing what they were doing.

Although all of that , I cannot blame them but instead am thankful and grateful for all the obstacles they have put through my life, those obstacles that sharpened many skills of mine that I wouldn’t have able to sharpen them anywhere else in this age.

For example, in the preparatory stages I didn’t go any training camp, scholarship or even a session without a long hard days of discussion with my dad, I cried for days to attend one session, as he was not convinced that those organizations will give me skills but instead they will control my mind and make me an infidel !

Those tears and long days of thinking made me arrive to the best ways in dealing with hard people and convincing them with things they were definitely offending it . In many times I lost my control but by training I learned to be a good listener and listen to a completely non-sense speech , just for the sake of making my opponent listen to what I have at the end.

About the infidelity thing, that fear he was putting in me was my one and only courage to explore dozens of ideologies and religions, it made me aware of many of the points of weakness in the most common ideological systems in the world, it taught me that it’s possible to do a mistake, and it’s also okay, as long as one admit his mistakes, it taught me also that it’s good to do a mistake, Because mistakes earlier are cheaper. it constructed a shield around my mind that protects it from following a thought or an idea that would lead me to either a waste of time, or a drift away from my own purposes of life, or against the rules of morals and ethics that I apply.

However, what I arrived after long time of thinking; is that if one day I was gifted with a child, I would raise him free, Free with every meaning of freedom, I would teach him how to choose , I would teach him that everything is possible, I would keep his mind liberated from any constrain. And of course I will not apply for him in any school. And I mean it, any school at all!

I will keep that young artist inside of him, and I will teach him how to be friends with him and get to know him better.
But wait a minute. Is this true? I mean would he gain the same experience if he was put in difficult situations where he arrives that he needs to seek his own way with himself?
Is it better to keep him away from schools and educate the best way education could be delivered? Or it is to put him in school and make him arrive himself that what he is doing is a waste of time.

In a theoretical form questionnaire, we could ask:-
 “Which is better? To put one inside a flawed environment and make him arrives to the flaws of this system? Or to create this system for him and make him involved in it directly?”
This question has always puzzled my mind for years. I look forward to know your opinions!

Thank you for your time.

Investigation of Truth - 00

  • 4

Now I know Truth ...
No I don't .. I'm a Lair .. or am I Not .. !?

Contents:-
1-   Agnostic  Background.
2-   The non-intentioned Media.
3-    Islam Elegance.

However as an Agnostic; I cannot assert a state of certain assured knowledge. Although sometimes I do, but at least I consider it a short of sight. For those who are not familiar with Agnosticism, specifically i mean strong background about it kindly skip the last two sentences and continue reading :). But of course it's from short insight also to deny reason, facts & results. So a moderate state seems reasonable enough, as it's clear for an amateur that human mind abilities are limited or more appropriately not-Error free.

That's why my Agnosticism view doesn't contradicts with my Islamic Belief. the elegance and beauty of Islam lie upon the ultimately reasonable facts it does define for the world among us.

And that's what I'm planning to talk about in the next period in my blog. I will try to investigate some of the issues that was held against Islam and describe how those issues turned out among near history to be the best non-intentioned Media For this Mesmerizing Ideology. But of course for an Environment that defines logic, Science & Human Morals to be the criteria that control their minds and help them judge & reason what they are exposed to in their real life.

Our investigation is obligatory- I believe, we are asked to wonder, inquire, and register in a non-ending quest for truth. It will be also with the same level of elegance that Islam came with. That elegance that freed people minds for centuries from being under the slavery of their whims and minds. The same elegance that inspired Muslim scholars, Engineers, Doctors with ultimate levels of innovation in the early centuries. And of course the same elegance that is mesmerizing lots of minds today, and hopefully will lead to the renaissance of this community again !

I hope it wasn't an long boring intro, but I wanted to win some time by starting with a topic. but I have to stop now and continue later :)

I Wish my words were not of Mistakes, else I Wish Allah's Forgiveness for any.

Power Set - Generate All Sets from a Certain Set

  • 9

"a Power Set is the set of all sets of a certain set S"

what the hell does this means :D :D

let's see an example ,

for the set of numbers S = { 0, 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 }

isn't s_01 = { 0, 1, 2, 3 } is a subset of set S ?
and s_02 = { 2, 4, 5 } is a subset of set S ?
and s_03 = { 0 } is a subset of set S ?

we also define two special subsets those are:-

set s_00 = { } which is a null set or empty set.
and s_S = { 0, 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5 } that is the full set itself to be subsets of the original set.

the power set is defined to be the set of all those subsets.
that can be defined for the set S = { 7, 8, 9 }

P( S ) = { {}, {7}, {8}, {9}, {7,8}, {8,9}, {7,9}, {7, 8, 9} }

when it comes to intuition, we can generate all possible sets for a small number of S like 3 elements or possibly four.
but when it comes to large numbers (relatively) like 16 elements the no of subsets is 2^16 = 65536.
in this case : of course it will be impossible to generate all sets by direct intuition, instead we need a method to map this method, or more particularly an algorithm to compute for us all possible subsets.

let's see the following approach ;
we would think of the Set S = { 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 } as an example

may be some samples subsets will be the following

set 1 :
- we will take the 1
- we will not take the 2
- we will take the 3
- we will take the 4

doesn't this interpretation yields the set { 1, 3, 4 } ?

set 2 :
- we will not take the 1
- we will take the 2
- we will not take the 3
- we will not take the 4

and this yields the set { 2 }.

another way to represent this interpretation by the following string { 0, 1, 0, 0 }
- where a 0 represents that we will not take the indexed element
- and a 1 represent that we will take it in our consideration.

well here comes more clarification for the 2^n line we didn't get at the beginning.
if we are going to represent every set as a string where every single item is marked as taken or not.
so the no of ways we can represent this string is (2)*(2) *.....(2)*(2) n times = 2^n.
so all we have to now is to represent all numbers from 0 to 2^n -1 in binary representation
and then mask this representation into our set to decide weather to take a specific element or not :).

so we begin with a for loop that loops from 0 to 2^n -1

and through the loop we mask the current number in binary representation and check weather each element in this index exists or not.

a sample code is available here with some modifications.

and this is the puzzle of today ;) ;) whoever can break this encrypted code will have a prize ;) ;) and that itself is a surprise :)
and i am talking seriously :)

this algorithm runs in O( n *(2 ^ n) ) and that's all i can get so far .
any body has a faster algorithm ??
however, i beleive the ( 2 ^ n ) factor cannot be reduced because it is the no of subsets so it can be reduced than that to generate all possible case.
so anybody can generate something less than the ( n ) factor ?

SRM: 477 - DIV: II - 500 Problem - Islands

Trivial problem with normal iteration, you can view the problem here
the main idea is to count the no of beaches that each cell has - if it is a land piece-.

We define a beach as a land that has a side neighbouring a water cell.
we iterate through all cells, if the current cell is a land peice we call the function countBeaches(i , j)
that counts the no of peace surrounding the indexed cell [ i ] [ j ].

we can define the function countBeaches(i, j) with two ways ;
the first one is two construct nested if statements that checks for every condition that exist for the 8 possible directions ( North, North West, North East, South , South East, South West)

regarding of course the difference between the odd lines and the even lines.
see the following picture to notice the difference

but another way to do this is to construct an array with the delta positions and add them to the original indexes to make the affect of translation.
that of course saves lots of coding time.

SRM: 477 - DIV: II - 250 Problem - Vacation Time

The problem main idea was to choose an interval to ensure the minimum re-scheduled days through the whole No. of days given
You can view the whole problem here

The first approach to this problem is brute force algorithm, we may think of it this way;
may be we should try all the possible intervals that start at day no [ i ] and end at day [ j ]
and count the no of re-scheduled days between those days, and keep track of the minimum no of scheduled days.

This algorithm will satisfy the time limit but is still as obvious in O ( n ^ 2 ).

another Dynamic Solution will solve problem in only O( n ).

the hint is we may solve this problem as follows ;

1st - we will have an Array that holds at Position [ i ] ; the sum of all scheduled days from day [1] to day [ i ]. that is by simply looping through the array and accumlating the sum of the previous day to this day we are in.

2nd - we loop again through the same array checking the minimum scheduled days in between day[ i ] and day [ i + K ].

Simply we transformed the too nested loops into two separate loops that each run in O ( n ) (^.^)
No one believe what Dynamic Programming can do to your life :)

Here is the sample code for a more clarification.
